The history of the company BERNSTEIN has its origins in 1913 with the founding of Steinrücke hardware wholesaler in Lennep. After 40 successful business years the tool department of the old company was dissolved and formed in a new company what is now known BERNSTEIN Werkzeugfabrik Steinrücke GmbH.
BERNSTEIN developed since its foundation in 1956 a number of very special hand tools for the production, maintenance and repair of radios, televisions and other hi-fi equipment. Today BERNSTEIN is one of the best-known German manufacturer of high quality hand tools for the entire electronics industry.
